Very simple: just enter the names and emails of the participants. Our tool runs the random draw in seconds and sends each person a private email revealing the name of who they need to gift to.

Less than a minute. As soon as you fill in participants and hit the button, the system assigns matches and fires off the emails instantly.

Yes. As organiser you can edit a participant's email or name from your private area. The matchings cannot be changed to keep the surprise, but you can regenerate the whole draw if no one has opened their email yet.

Each participant gets an email with the name of the person they have to gift, the draw details (date, place, budget if you set one) and a link to the app or web to check their assignment any time.

Yes. With the same email you can create as many draws as you want (family, office, friends…) and manage them from "My Draws" in your private area.

No registration required. When you create a draw, it is automatically tied to your email. To access the private area we use a 6-digit OTP code: no passwords to remember.

The minimum is 3 participants (so that the draw makes sense). There is no maximum: you can run draws with hundreds of people. For large groups we recommend the CSV import.

Yes. You can add an indicative budget (e.g. £20) in the form and it will appear in the invitation emails so all participants know how much to spend.

Yes. These fields are optional but recommended: they show up in the invitation emails so participants know when and where the exchange will happen.

Yes. In the last step of the form you can edit the message participants receive to add a personal touch or specific instructions.

Yes, as long as each participant has a unique email. If someone does not have one (children or grandparents), we recommend using an alias (e.g. [email protected]) or quickly creating a free account for them.

They receive a private email with the name of their match. If they want to check it later, they can do so from their private area on the web or in the mobile app.

99% of the time the email went to the Spam or Promotions folder. Ask them to check there. If it still does not show, you can enable the resend feature from the organiser area.

Yes. As organiser, go to "My Draws", select the draw and tap the pencil icon next to the participant. The new email will receive the assignment.

Yes, this is available with the Resend pass. It lets you send individual invitations to whoever needs them.

Not directly, because it would alter the existing matchings. We recommend regenerating the draw with the new list before anyone has opened their email, or creating a separate draw for the missing people.

Yes. In step 2 of the form you set up "Exclusions": for each participant you indicate who they cannot gift. It is ideal to make sure couples, siblings or flatmates do not gift each other.

As many as you need, no cap. You can add multiple exclusions per participant as long as the draw remains mathematically possible.

Our algorithm detects this and warns you before generating the draw. If it happens, it tells you which exclusion is blocking the result so you can adjust it.

No, they are directional. If you configure that A cannot gift B, B may still gift A unless you add that exclusion too. To block couples or family members both ways, configure the exclusion separately on each participant.

Yes, as long as participants have not opened their emails yet you can run it again. Once opened, regeneration is disabled to avoid spoiling the surprise.

Visit Create draw from CSV. Upload your file or paste the contents and you will see a preview of the detected data before continuing to the draw.

We accept .csv, .xlsx and .xls. Expected columns are Name, Email and Exclusions (optional), separated by semicolons or tabs.

Each person occupies a position: row 1 is 1, row 2 is 2 and so on. In the "Exclusions" column you list the position numbers of the people they should not gift, separated by commas.

No. We have processed imports with hundreds of participants without issue. For very large lists you will see a paginated preview before confirming.

Yes. Download your sheet as CSV or Excel from "File > Download" in Google Sheets, or simply copy the cells and paste them into the textarea on the import page.

Yes. We have native apps for iOS and Android, available on the App Store and Google Play. You can access the direct download links from our App section.

Yes. Web and app share the same account: whatever you organise on one shows on the other. It is ideal when the organiser uses a computer and the participants prefer mobile.

Yes, downloading and using the basics of the app are free. Premium features (ad-free, resends, view matchings) are purchased optionally.

Yes, to sync your draws and check assignments. Once loaded, the draw data remains available for basic checks even if you briefly lose connection.

Yes. If you update an email or regenerate a draw on the web, the changes show up in the app on refresh (and the other way around).

Keeping servers fast when thousands of people run draws at the same time costs money. Premium features help us cover those costs without forcing anyone to pay to take part.

It is an optional pass that removes advertising from your draw and emails. We handle it per draw, so you only pay if you need it for a specific one.

If someone deleted their invitation or changed email, with the Resend pass you can send the email again to their updated address.

A feature for organisers who need to know who is gifting whom (for example, company events). For privacy reasons we do not provide this via support: it is unlocked with the View Matchings extra.

It is a voluntary donation to support the project. It is a gesture and does not unlock features automatically: extras (resend, matchings, etc.) are purchased separately in the "Extras" section.

Each participant only sees their own. Neither the organiser nor the support team can look them up, unless the organiser purchases the "View Matchings" feature.

The whole site runs over HTTPS and the draw data is stored encrypted in European databases. We comply with GDPR: you have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time.

No. Your information is only used to make the draw work (sending emails, showing your assignment). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We keep draws so you can reuse them next year and check assignments from the app. If you do not want them stored, you can delete them manually from your private area.

Yes. From your profile (web or app) you can tap "Delete account": your data is anonymised and your session closes immediately. It is instant.

We use a passwordless system (OTP). Enter your email, get a 6-digit code and log straight in. More secure and no passwords to remember.

Yes. From your profile you can update your main email. We send a verification code to the new address before applying the change.

Write to us at [email protected] mentioning the name of the draw, the rough date you created it and the original email. We will verify your identity and help you regain access.

Yes, very easy. Log into your private area with your email, go to "My Draws" and tap "Reuse list". You will save yourself from retyping all the names and emails.

No worries. If there was an error in an email, edit it with the pencil icon. To resend the invitation you need the Resend pass.

99% of the time the email is in the SPAM or Junk folder. Ask them to check there before anything else.

If the issue persists, write to [email protected]. If you have purchased a premium feature, mention it in the subject line for priority support.

We work with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Opera (recent versions). On mobile, Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android are fully supported.
